If you follow my Instagram feed, you probably notice floral pop up frequently. I have started a floral business called Rhosyn. We had our first pop-up shop at The Livery Shop in Inglewood, here in Calgary. It was an amazing venue to have our launch for Valentine's Week. We had such a great response from the community, and are very excited for the new venture! We have been making floral gift boxes with local goodies. Very shortly we will be releasing our housewarming, baby + mama & man boxes. Weddings for 2015 have started to book up as well, so if you or anyone you know is getting married- send them our info! Take a look on the new website www.rhosynfloral.com.

Before Valentine's Day, we headed over to Mike + Diane Photography's studio to do a mini photobooth session. The last time we had family photos done, the girls were a year and a half. Well over due to say the least. We had so much fun, and I feel like they captured us as a family spot on. Maybe I can get over my phobia of putting nail holes in our walls and actually hang some of these photos. How can I not, I'm in love! If you are ever in need of a photographer in Calgary (wedding/events/family photos), I highly suggest getting in touch with these folks- fun, easy going and amazingly talented to boot!

December ended beautifully with the wedding of two of my dearest friends Emma & Cory. We brought in the New Year with their nuptials and a party out in Water Valley, AB. We stayed out at Camp Kindle with the mountains on the horizon and endless snow covered fields. It was breathtaking.
Emma and Cory asked me to do their flowers for their wedding and I was so very honored. After months of planning with Emma on her wedding vision, I am over the moon with how everything turned out. And I am happy to announce that I will be starting my own floral events company here in Calgary very shortly. Excited for what 2015 will bring. Happy New Year!

After Andrew and I renewed our vows in June, we took a trip to Seattle. First timers. We stayed at the Ace which was conveniently located right downtown. Fresh complimentary waffles for breakfast every morning. I love me some waffles. Definitely recommend staying here!
We did the touristy things... Pike Place Market... the first Starbucks. But my favorite thing was checking out Alki Beach and renting a pair of bicycles to cruise the shoreline. Also, the Fremont area has some wicked vintage shops like Fremont Vintage Mall & Gold Dogs.
Seattle really isn't that far from Vancouver and such a cool city culture wise. I could see us living there if we ever decided to stray from Canada.
